Spring 2020: In this moment, when we have all been rummaging our kitchen pantries for inspiration and relief from the global pandemic, Milan-based Maria Cristina Didero and London-based Libby Sellers launched Design Cucina to share food stories from designers and friends from all around the world. Designboom's Nina Azzarello featured the project.
Published as a daily Instagram post on the Design Cucina feed, the aim is to help inspire and encourage in these unprecedented, house bound times. Drawing on a shared network of wonderful creatives, Didero and Sellers invited a select group to document the making of their favourite meal. The idea was simply to share and to celebrate a sense of togetherness, as we visited the home kitchens of another friend and colleague each day.
