Libby Sellers is a design historian, consultant, curator and writer.


She was former curator at the Design Museum, London and supported concept-led design through her eponymous gallery for nearly 10 years. Now Libby focuses on writing, client consultancy and freelance curation for institutions including the Serpentine Galleries and commercial galleries including Nilufar Milan and Friedman Benda New York. Her most recent exhibition was the first-ever design contribution to Frieze New York 2020. She has authored a number of publications on design and her most recent book, Women Design, was published in 2018.


Libby was nominated for the 2008 Paul Hamlyn Breakthrough Fund for cultural entrepreneurs and in 2014 she was honoured by the Women of the Year awards as a Woman of Achievement in the Arts.
