Tony Chambers, Editor of Wallpaper* Magazine, has selected the '24.2.2 Table Lamp' by Paola Petrobelli as a must-see at this year's Design Miami/Basel. "You've got to love a girl who has spent time as a molecular biologist and been a champion in international motor racing before turning her dexterous hands to glassmaking", writes Tony. "Petrobelli's Meccano-inspired lamps (floor-based or ceiling pendant) are conceived to stack one above the other, to create innumerable different forms and colourways. I've just seen a collection of them at Libby's gallery in London and they are utterly delightful".
This year, Tony has focused his attention on contemporary design as exhibited at the fair - as he states, "it's imperative that we support living and working designers and artists, as without them there's no tomorrow".
'24.2.2' will be on display with Gallery Libby Sellers at Design Miami/Basel, booth G27, between June 10 - 16, 2013, and can also be seen July 4 - August 16, 2013, at the Gallery in London.
