April 2020: In this moment, when we are all rummaging our kitchen pantries for inspiration and relief, MC Didero and I invited designers, friends and colleagues to document a meal they have cooked for a newly launched Design Cucina Instagram series. The aim is to help inspire, encourage and come together over the one universal we have in these unprecedented, house bound times.
While the contributions were by invitation only, the brief was completely open. Our guests could feature any food or drink, and in any visual form they chose. From just photographs (or illustrations and films) of the raw ingredients and finished product right through to a written ingredients list, cooking instructions and finished scrumptious result. The contributions have been amazing - and will last way beyond the peak of the pandemic.
