Peter Marigold with the American Hardwood Export Council at Clerkenwell Design Week, May 2014.

For the American Hardwood Export Council's presentation during Clerkenwell Design Week 2014, Peter Marigold conceived a screen of curved tulipwood pieces. The installation, in collaboration with Andrew Haythornthwaite, was a playful dialogue between the two dimensionality of a flat surface screen and the three dimensional triangles made from curved and cupped pieces of tulip wood. Each triangle sits perched on a tensile wire and is held in place with a red oak counter balance, making the wall of triangles sway and bob gently in the breeze.

The exhibition was part of the Export Council's drive to celebrate the breadth and diversity of hardwood and included works by many others of the design collective Okay Studio.
