Nicolas Le Moigne

Following his graduation in product design from ECAL/École cantonale d'art de Lausanne in 2007, Nicolas Le Moigne has gone on to create award-winning work in lighting, product and furniture design. His in-depth research into production processes and inherent properties of all materials has brought him to the attention of both industrial manufacturers - including Omega,  Eternit and Pfister - and design galleries from London to Mexico.

In 2008 Le Moigne and Gallery Libby Sellers presented a collection of Slip Stools made of Eternit for 'Stratavarious', an exhibition which launched Le Moigne's work in London and his relationship with the gallery. His work is held in public collections including the Museum für Gestaltung Zurich, and in 2012 Le Moigne won the Swiss Federal Design Award for his 'Alps Express' shelving system. He is currently a tutor at ECAL.
