KAPOW! by Studio Frith nominated for Designs of the Year 2013

Kapow!, designed by Studio Frith, has been nominated for a 2013 Design Museum Designs of the Year award in the graphics category.

Exploding with unfolding pages and multiple directional text, Kapow! is set in the thick of the Arab Spring, guided by the high-speed monologue of an unnamed narrator. Kapow!, written by Adam Thirlwell and published by Visual Editions, asks readers to open and unfold pages, to follow text leaking in and out of paragraphs, while progressively becoming part of and lost within the narrator's thoughts.
