Hunting & Narud's 'Apex Tables' series have been selected by Wallpaper* editors amongst their furnishings for The Wallpaper* Apartment in a building newly renovated by Cadogan Estate.
Originally commissioned by the American Hardwood Foundation for Clerkenwell Design Week, the 'Apex Tables' reverse the conventional working relationship between glass and wood in a table design. Instead of the solid wood supporting the fragile glass, here turned wooden cones are encased and supported by handblown glass vessels. The 'Apex Tables' not only highlight Hunting & Narud's sophisticated understanding of the interplay between contrasting materials but are also - quite simply - exquisite objects.
