Atelier NL was formed in 2006 by Nadine Sterk (b.1977) and Lonny van Rijswijck (b.1978) after their graduation from the Design Academy Eindhoven, Netherlands. They have since produced a number of exhibitions and presentations of their joint work, including "Verldwerk - Noordoostpolder" and "The Last Supper". During the 2009 Salone del Mobile, the annual international furniture fair held in Milan in April, the venerable Dutch ceramic company Royal Tichelaar Makkum launched a series of works based on Atelier NL's Drawn From Clay prototypes which had been presented by Gallery Libby Sellers earlier that same year.
